WAL-MART WOULD RATHER RAISE MY TAXES

Wal-Mart is fighting a bill in the Maryland state legislature that would mandate large companies provide health benefits to their employees or deposit some money into a state fund for the same purpose.

In the name of free enterprise, Wal-Mart would prefer to hire workers without benefits and let the state government pay for their Medicaid benefits.
